Gritting schedule
Saturday, 23rd March 2024
Forecast: Variable amounts of cloud with scattered showers from the northwest this afternoon, these showers being heavy and perhaps wintry with sleet or hail over higher roads. RSTs could
be erratic and get dragged around zero as any wintry showers pass through. Showers - some wintry - then continuing for a time this evening before becoming largely dry after
9/10pm or so with long clear periods continuing overnight. One or two isolated sleety showers could drift down from the northwest during the early hours, however. RSTs falling
below zero in places with a risk of ice and hoar frost. Sunny spells and the odd shower tomorrow morning.
The roads marked in blue on the map were scheduled to be treated on this date.
