Agencies across Cumbria respond to impact of Storm Eowyn

Partner agencies have been working together in response to the impact of strong winds from Storm Eowyn, providing support to any residents, communities and businesses affected by the weather. This has included dealing with power outages, road accidents, as well as clearing debris and fallen trees from roads.

Weekend closures planned for the A595 at Grizebeck

The essential road closures will see the safe construction of junctions connecting a new temporary route which will will serve all vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians for six months while a new overpass is constructed to carry local traffic over the new A595 and provide access to Grizebeck Village.
