Variable cloud this afternoon, with scattered showers pushing in from the west. A few showers will be possible this evening, with some lengthy clearer spells in places for a time as well. In the course of the night, showers are expected to become increasingly active and widespread. Showers will be wintry at times, with snow across the highest ground. These showers may be heavy enough at times to bring a risk of wash-off. RSTs may be erratic at times during wintry precipitation. RSTs below zero with the risk of ice and hoar frost. Showers continuing tomorrow morning, wintry with snow over higher roads at first.
