Kendal - Household Waste Recycling Centre

Open seven days a week from 8am to 4pm.

Find details of the Kendal HWRC, when it is open and what you can take there.

We're carrying out essential works at Kendal HWRC on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 November 2024. The centre will remain open but there may be temporary changes to operations. This might cause minor delays when depositing your waste. If you have any questions about the changes, please speak to a member of staff when you visit the centre.

If you're driving a larger vehicle such as a van or utility vehicle or use a large double axle trailer you will need to apply for a HWRC Permit.

If you're walking to one of our sites you'll need a pedestrian's permit so we can keep you safe.
