Garrigill Cemetery

About the cemetery

Garrigill cemetery was opened in 1893 on a site of  approximately half a hectare just outside of Garrigill village. 

The cemetery is non-denominational.

Opening hours

The cemetery is open from dawn until dusk, 365 days per year.

Parking facilities

No car park exists at the cemetery.  Visitors and funeral attendees are requested to park on the roadside in a safe position and proceed via foot into the cemetery.

If visitors are looking for a specific grave, we recommend contacting bereavement services who will provide assistance in locating the grave on your behalf.  

We advise you do this as soon as possible as we regret, we cannot always answer queries immediately.
