  • Priority certificates are issued the same day if ordered by 3pm. For orders after 3pm they will be issued the next working day.
  • Standard Royal Mail first class post is included in the fee.
  • For added security you can upgrade to confirmed or priority delivery.

  • Standard delivery certificates will be issued within 15 working days. Cumbria Certificates will however aim to issue it within 10 working days.
  • Standard Royal Mail second class delivery is included in the fee
  • For added security you can upgrade to confirmed delivery.
  • Please note priority delivery is not available on a standard order.
  • Any Certificates lost in the post will be reviewed/investigated on a case by case basis and in accordance with Royal Mail’s Online Guidance. This will take place once 30 days have passed since the order was placed.

Delivery methods

Confirmed delivery

  • Confirmed delivery has the same delivery timescale as standard first class post.
  • It has the added security of proof of delivery including a signature from the receiver.
  • You have the ability to check online or on your mobile if your item has not been delivered or is delayed and a tracking number to provide to Royal Mail to help track down your missing item.
  • Any Certificates lost in the post will be reviewed/investigated on a case by case basis and in accordance with Royal Mail’s Online Guidance. This will take place once 30 days have passed since the order was placed.

Priority delivery - this service applies to priority certificates only

  • Royal Mail aims to deliver your letter the next working day before 1pm.
  • It has the added security of proof of delivery including a signature from the receiver.
  • You have the ability to check online or on your mobile if your item has not been delivered or is delayed. Any Certificates lost in the post will be reviewed/investigated on a case by case basis and in accordance with Royal Mail’s Online Guidance. This will take place once 5 working days have passed since the order was posted.
  • This does not include Saturday delivery.

International delivery

If you are ordering a certificate to be sent to an address outside the United Kingdom, please select the confirmed delivery option for £2.50. This is not sent confirmed delivery, however this does cover the cost of post by Airmail.
