Forecast: Mainly cloudy this afternoon with showery outbreaks of rain. Spells of rain moving in from the west this evening and overnight, these heavy at times. Rain turning to showers from the early hours of the night, these wintry over higher ground for a time towards dawn with a mix of sleet, hail and snow possible. RSTs locally falling to around zero with the brief risk of ice and hoar frost. Cloudy with showery rain tomorrow morning, again wintry over higher roads with sleet and wet snow.
Reduced confidence due to some uncertainty in amounts of snow accumulating, although sleet and wet snow showers are likely. RSTs may be erratic under any wintry showers at the end of tonight/tomorrow morning.
