The Health Protection Team provide IPC support to our Adult Social Care providers which includes monitoring and promoting IPC initiatives. For example, those aimed and reducing infections associated with healthcare and reducing antimicrobial resistance. We also carry out IPC audits and provide training programmes for our providers. 

We provide IPC outbreak support and management to:

  • nursing and residential homes
  • supported living residential homes
  • some day care services
  • some domiciliary care settings
