A public event is being held in Penrith for people to find out more about devolution.
A Government consultation is currently seeking views on devolution in Cumbria and is inviting responses from all sectors of society.
The event, organised by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), will take place at the North Lakes Hotel, Penrith, on Thursday 27 March, between 5:30pm and 7:30pm.
MHCLG officials will outline the details of the consultation, which can be found here. Each presentation, at 5.45pm and 6.45pm, will last approximately 20 minutes after which officials will be available to discuss individual queries.
The MHCLG asks that people confirm their attendance via this Eventbrite link. However, walk-ins on the day are also welcome.
The consultation closes on 13 April.
