To start: as soon as possible<br/><br/>Teaching Assistant<br/>Term time only plus 1 week INSET permanent <br/>Starting Salary TA1 £25119 FTE / £18893 actual/pro rata <br/>Starting Salary TA2 £26421 FTE / £19872 actual/pro rata<br/>Dependent on level of qualification.<br/><br/>Standard working pattern 08:40 - 15:40 Monday to Friday (32.5 hours per week)<br/><br/>We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative colleague to join our 3-19 special school to provide specialist support to maximise pupil development and achievement.<br/><br/>You will work with children who have a range of significant and often complex SEND for example those with autism social emotional and mental health difficulties genetic disorders health conditions communication or mobility challenges and in some instances pupils who exhibit challenging behaviour.<br/><br/>The successful applicant must be willing to complete training including support for pupils with medical interventions.<br/><br/>Please see the person specification to find out more about the essential and desirable requirements for this job.
