Sandgate is special school for children and young people between the ages of 3-19 years.

We are a split site school and currently have a £6.5m new build in progress on our upper school site. We take pride in fostering a positive and dynamic learning environment for students with severe learning difficulties

You will deliver on:

• QTS
• At least 5 years of experience working with SEN students, particularly those with an ASC diagnosis
• Passion for education, commitment and reliability
• Incredible patience
• Planning for a safe learning environment
• Providing engaging educational content for student learning
• Experience implementing a wide variety of learning styles with a proven record of success
• Ability to proactively and positively manage severe and complex behavioural challenges
• Experience in recording student information (academic and behavioural) using a range of software programmes
• Experience in working collaboratively within a team, and managing teaching assistants

Candidates who have been shortlisted will be informed the following week. Interviews will be held on the week commencing Monday 18^th December with a view to start on 19^th February 2024.
