Senior Teaching Assistant 

Required to start January 2024

We are seeking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our school support team and provide 1:1 support to children with EHCP’s. The post is 29 hours and is a fixed term contract which will start in Year 4 and follow through the school until the children leave.

The ideal candidates will:

  • have recent experience of working with children in an educational context
  • be passionate about giving all children the best experiences, opportunities and learning
  • have good levels of English, Maths and up to date IT skills
  • experience working 1:1 with SEND children
  • be able to work independently and use their own initiative as well as work as part of a team
  • be able to adapt learning tasks to meet the needs of the learner
  • be flexible and adaptable
  • has an approachable, calm and professional manner
  • be supportive of the Christian ethos of our Church of England school
