21.5 hours per week worked over 3 days (days to be determined)
Due to increasing pupil numbers, we are looking to appoint a motivated, skilled and hardworking administrative assistant. This is an amazing opportunity for the right person to join our welcoming and vibrant village school. The post would suit a well-organised, adaptable, friendly and conscientious person, who would work alongside our School Business Manager to undertake a range of routine tasks including: operating our school reception - welcoming visitors, answering the telephone and responding to emails; liaising with our families; leading the administrative arrangements for our after-school clubs; and a range of financial duties.
The successful candidate will:
• have experience of undertaking administrative-type duties within an office environment;
• be able to build strong, positive relationships with everyone attached to our school;
• be confident in a range of IT software;
• be able to work proactively: both independently and as part of a small team;
• work closely with the school business manager and headteacher to ensure continuity and proactive shared working practice;
• be committed to whole school life and support our Christian values.
