Teaching Assistant

Required to cover maternity leave
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9am until 5pm Term Time Only (38 weeks)

Required from 15th April 2024 (or as sooner if possible) until 31st March 2025 on a fixed term basis. With the possibility of continuing in April 2025.

The Governing Body and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant to join our dedicated nursery team.

We would like the successful candidate to share our vision of providing creative and stimulating learning opportunities to develop the whole child. The successful candidate will help to provide a safe and happy learning environment which enables every child to flourish.

Essential Qualifications
English and Mathematics GCSE (Grade A-C)
Experience working with or caring for children and young people
NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a relevant childcare/education area
Desirable Qualifications
Paediatric/First Aid Certificate
Experience of working with or caring for children within an early years setting.
Experience of working in a classroom setting
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant childcare/education area

Visits to the school are welcomed by prior arrangement with the Headteacher.
