Early Years Apprentice Teaching Assistant

Apprentice (National Minimum Apprentice hourly rate £6.40 from 1st April 2024)

Full-time - 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday with 45 minute break.
Fixed term until 18th July 2025 (12 month apprenticeship plus 3 months End Point Assessment period) Term time only plus 1 week for INSET days.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Early Years team at Barrow Island Primary School. We are looking to recruit a friendly, approachable and reliable member of staff who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development. The successful candidate will work predominately in our Pre-School class alongside experienced Early Years professionals, whilst gaining a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification in partnership with Furness College.
