Nursery Teacher

The children, staff and governors of Cambridge Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational, experienced Nursery teacher to join our wonderful, dedicated team from September 2024.

The person appointed will have responsibility for our nursery class and will work alongside the Early Years Leader to drive our vision for the development of children in the early years.

We are looking for someone who has:
• excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills;
• high expectations of all pupils and is committed to creating a stimulating classroom environment;
• the ability to enthuse children to learn and understands what is required to secure outstanding progress;
• a passion for education and is able to demonstrate consistently good and outstanding classroom practice;
• excellent communication skills at all levels and has experience of managing support staff effectively;
• the ability to inspire, motivate and work effectively in a team;
• experience of teaching pupils with various SEND needs;
• the ability to support children, of all abilities, through inclusive practice;
• great creativity and knows how to support children to become independent, persevere with challenges and present their work to a high standard;
• a belief in the development of the whole child.
