Teacher of Technology

Then we would welcome an application to join our well-established, successful and dynamic Technology Department in September 2024.
We are looking for a confident, highly motivated teacher of DT with an uncompromising commitment to student achievement. A creative and well-organised classroom practitioner, you will teach exciting technology lessons that engage all learners from across the age and ability range. Your high standards and commitment to your subject, your passion for improving the life opportunities of young people and your ability to deliver inspiring lessons will make you a great fit for our school.

This is a permanent appointment and we welcome applications from all disciplines within Technology. As part of our approach to accommodate flexible working, full time, part time and/or job share will be considered and can be discussed at interview.
We can offer you a well-equipped and resourced Design and Technology department, with workshops, textile rooms, catering kitchens and ICT facilities. The work of the department is supported by two full-time technicians. You will also have the opportunity to teach your specialist area up to KS5.
This is a great opportunity for either a newly qualified or an experienced teacher to work in a friendly, dynamic environment and to play a full and active role in the continual development of high-quality teaching and learning.
