Term Time Only, plus Inset Days (39 weeks per year)
Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 15:30 (32.5 hours per week)
Actual Pro Rata Salary £17,394 per annum (including non-contractual UK living wage supplement) (PCD 3, Grade 3, SCP 3-4)
Full Time Annual Salary £22,737 – £23,114 Hourly rate: £11.79 to £11.98 per hour, pro rata £17,083 - £17,366
Full Time Annual Salary £23,151 (including non-contractual UK living wage supplement - £12.00 per hour)

Ulverston Victoria High School is a happy and thriving 11-18 school and sixth form and is at the heart of the community in the picturesque South Lakeland market town of Ulverston.

We wish to appoint a Design and Technology Technician to provide specific support to our Food and Textiles Department. The role will include purchase, preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment, and supporting of staff and students prior to and during lessons.

Professional, creative and knowledgeable individuals with a background and interest in Food and/or Textiles are invited to apply for this post. Job specific training will be provided, as necessary, for the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will be clearly in tune with our values and our ethos of “children first”. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting the Design and Technology Team, showing the necessary skills to support students, teachers and the curriculum at UVHS.
