Senior Teaching Assistant

Required for Autumn Term 2024- September.

1 X STA Fixed Term Temporary Contract- 15 hrs per week (to be arranged).

The children, staff and governors are looking to appoint one Senior Teaching Assistant for September 2024. We would like a friendly team player with high expectations to join our enthusiastic, hardworking team. 

Essential Attributes
•    Is hard-working, has high standards and enjoys the challenge of working in a small school environment. 
•    Experience of working with small groups or individual children.
•    Team member but to also show initiative when required.  
•    Is knowledgeable and organised.
•    Is helpful, understanding, calm and consistent in their standards and behaviour.
•    Is flexible, enjoys sharing ideas and who understands the importance of collaboration. 
•    Will promote the schools chosen Christian values and, has an understanding of the importance of them in Church Schools.
Desirable Attributes
•    Has used Read Write Inc. to support the teaching of English.
•    Has an interest in providing quality 1-1 intervention and support.
