The children, staff and governors of St James’ CE Junior School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, well organised enthusiastic teacher to join our wonderful dedicated team from September 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate will:
•    Lead English across school
•    Play a key role in curriculum implementation, ensuring that teaching and learning are engaging, inclusive and responsive to the needs of all learners
•    Deliver and model excellent classroom practice to meet the needs of all children
•    Maintain and ensure high expectations of learning and behaviour
•    Lead by example in promoting our Christian values and ethos of the school, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for children and staff alike
•    Is an excellent classroom practitioner, planning and delivering lessons which deliver good progress and achievement for all
•    Be fully involved and contribute to the life of school, including extra curriculum activities
•    Have a commitment to teamwork
•    Work collaboratively with families and governors to strengthen home-school partnerships and enhance the school community
