The children, staff and Governing Body of Kirkby Stephen Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and committed Lower KS2 teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2024. 
We are looking for someone who is creative, has the skills to cater for a wide range of needs and understands the importance of ensuring children are supported with transitioning from KS1 into KS2.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team, being both flexible and well organised.

 The successful candidate will:
•    Have a passion for teaching and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how children learn.
•    Have high expectations of our pupils and be able to support children of all abilities through inclusive practice.

Kirkby Stephen Primary School is a one-form-entry primary school with a nursery on site (NOR 225) based in the small market town of Kirkby Stephen. We value working closely with the community to ensure the very best for our children and strive to make the most of our beautiful surroundings.
