Part-time Senior Teaching Assistant (3 posts)

We have three vacancies available for September to come and join our lovely school.

Post 1 – 13.5 hours
The successful applicant will work in Key Stage 2 working to support individual children, sometimes in the classroom and at other times delivering specific interventions for pupils. The successful applicant will be supported by the class teacher and SENCo.
Hours of work will be Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am-2pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
STA (13.5 hours) 
PCD7 - Annual Full Time Salary £26,421 to £27,334 (£8255.28 pro rata) £13.70 per hour

Post 2 – 30 hours
The successful applicant will work in Key Stage 1 and 2 working to support individual children, sometimes in the classroom and at other times delivering specific interventions for pupils. The successful applicant will be supported by the class teacher and SENCo. 
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am-3.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
STA (30 hours) 
PCD7 - Annual Full Time Salary £26,421 to £27,334 (£18,345 pro rata) £13.70 per hour

Post 3 – 27.5 hours
The successful applicant will work in our thriving Nursery alongside our experienced Nursery teacher. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am-3pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
STA (27.5 hours) 
PCD7 - Annual Full Time Salary £26,421 to £27,334 (£16,816 pro rata) £13.70 per hour

Posts are temporary until 31st August 2025 (linked to funding), to start 1st September 2024

Our team of experienced staff deliver a rich, broad and balanced curriculum. We aim to raise attainment through carefully planned programmes of work matched to individual needs. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated teaching assistants, who will contribute to our creative and excellent quality learning experiences.

The successful candidate will:
-    Have previous experience of working 1-1 and supporting small groups
-    Have a good knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum/ Key Stage 1/ Key Stage 2 curriculum (depending on the post being applied for)
-    Have experience of working with pupils with additional needs.
-    Hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
-    Have high expectations and demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and achieving the best for all of our children.
-    Be an excellent communicator, flexible and enthusiastic
-    Be a committed team member but also able to work with independence when required and willing to become involved in the wider life of the school 
-    Work with other agencies to support pupils
