The children, staff and governors of Selside Endowed CE Primary School wish to appoint a teacher for Class 1 (Nursery, Reception and Year 1) to join our enthusiastic and dedicated staff team, starting September 2024.
The role is a 0.22 FTE, MPR, part-time role with a temporary fixed term contract for 1 year from September 2024 to 31st August 2025 due to fluctuations in admissions. There may also be the option to work as a HLTA for one day for the right candidate.
Salary: M1 – M6 (£30,000 - £41,333) pro rata.
We would like a friendly team-player to provide high quality teaching in Early Years/KS1. Experience of teaching in Early Years is essential.
The successful candidate will join our experienced staff team, and will:
• Be hard-working, have high standards, and enjoy the challenge of working in a small school environment
• Have experience of teaching in, and of the Early Years provision and initiatives with the the ability to creatively meet the needs of all the children in our mixed age class.
• Be flexible, with the ability to plan collaboratively and willingness to play an active part in the wider life of the school.
• Be able to promote the schools chosen Christian values and the understanding of the importance of them in Church Schools.
• Be knowledgeable about how young children learn, teaching phonics, and the importance of play.
• Have an understanding of how the outdoors can promote learning.
