Finance Administrator

Permanent position x 2 = 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday Term time only

We are a community school with over 800 students aged 11-16 years on roll. Situated in the historic town of Dalton in Furness, we enjoy being on the fringe of the Lake District National Park. As an Ofsted rated ‘good’ school, we believe in high expectations, excellent teaching and ambition for every young person. 

We are seeking to appoint two Finance Administrators to assist the School Business Manager in specific financial areas in order to ensure the smooth and efficient management of the school’s finances.

We would welcome applications from someone who has: 

•    NVQ3 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline. 

•    Recent finance and budgetary experience.

•    Ability to relate well to children and adults.

•    The ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.

•    Ability to work accurately under pressure with attention to detail.
