School Administrator (Level 2) and Clerk to the LGB (Level 2) Maternity Cover

Working Hours: 30 hours per week plus 3 hours for clerk. 

Salary: Grade 6 SCP 7&8 (BS6) (£25,584 - £25,992 pro rata, approx. £13.30 - £13.51 per hour) Clerk Grade 2, SCP 4 (£12.88 per hour)

Hours: 30 hours per week over 5 days within the hours 8.30am – 3.30pm. Plus 3 hours for clerk.
Paid weeks per year: Term time only (38 weeks) plus two weeks. 

The Local Governing Body of Lazonby CE School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious, and hardworking administrator and clerk to the Local Governing Body to run our busy school office.   

You will: 
•    Have experience of working in a secretarial or administrative role, preferably within a school environment 
•    Have a ‘can do’ mentality with a desire to overcome challenges that arise.
•    Be a team-player with exceptional communication and inter-personal skills.
•    Be friendly and approachable for frontline reception duties, dealing with enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone and via email.
•    Have excellent ICT skills and familiarity with Microsoft packages. Experience of dealing with pupil and staff data on a school information management system would be an advantage.
•    Have experience of financial admin procedures including monitoring school budgets and banking.
•    Have a positive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to your work. To be caring and be involved with school life allowing everyone to flourish.
