Teaching Assistant

Part time up to *32.5 hours pw (08.30 – 15.30 Monday to Friday)
*We would also welcome applications from candidates interested in working fewer than 5 days per week.

Permanent. Term-time plus 3 days INSET

Salary FTE £25,183 pa, £13.05 per hour, £18,750 actual/pro rata based on 32.5 hours
Plus generous LGPS pension with employer contribution 

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly, experienced team.

The successful candidate will:
•    Give individual support to named students
•    Have the skills to work with students who have complex needs 
•    Work with Learning Support Teachers to deliver planned programmes

Although experience and qualifications will be an advantage, first and foremost we wish to appoint the right person to complement our team. 

GCSE English and Maths are essential as is an NVQ LEVEL 2 qualification (or equivalent) relevant to supporting children.
