Part-time Senior Teaching Assistant - term time 

Askam Village School is a friendly and welcoming school where everybody matters and every moment counts. There are currently 176 children on roll from Nursery to Year 6. 

We have a vacancy for a Senior Teaching Assistant available for September to come and join our lovely school.

The successful applicant will work in our Nursery alongside our Nursery teacher.  

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am-3.00pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
STA (27.5 hours). We would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible. 

Our team of experienced staff deliver a rich, broad and balanced curriculum. We aim to raise attainment through carefully planned programmes of work matched to individual needs. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated teaching assistant, who will contribute to our creative and excellent quality learning experiences.

The successful candidate will:
-    Have previous experience of working within Early Years
-    Have a good knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum
-    Hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
-    Have high expectations and demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and achieving the best for all of our children.
-    Be an excellent communicator, flexible and enthusiastic
-    Be a committed team member but also able to work with independence when required and willing to become involved in the wider life of the school 
-    Work with other agencies to support pupils
