The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well organised School Administrator who can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and maintain high standards within the school office environment.

Excellent communication and administrative skills are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a highly motivated team. Experience of using school Management Information Systems (MIS) and a cashless parent payment system such as, SCOPAY, is essential.  Some understanding of financial procedures would be beneficial, but not essential, as there will be close working with our school Business Manager.

The office is a busy, happy place of work.  The administrator is most likely to be the first point of contact for visitors to school and as such will represent the Christian ethos of the establishment.  The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently and to a very high standard whilst retaining a sense of humour, a strong sense of team involvement and a positive attitude. A high degree of confidentiality is essential.

Burton Morewood CE Primary Academy & Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointments will be subject to pre-employment checks which will include satisfactory references, Right to Work in the UK, an enhanced DBS check for regulated activity (to include a children’s barred list check) and a work place health assessment.

We are a welcoming village primary school with happy, motivated children and a dynamic, passionate and hardworking staff team. We have high expectations of ourselves and the children. The local community is highly supportive of the school.

Visits to the school are welcome; please contact our Head Teacher to make an appointment either by email to: admin@burtonmorewood.cumbria.sch.uk or by telephoning the school office on: 01524 781627.
