Fixed Term-Maternity Cover, Part-Time, Teaching Assistant Post (17.5hours) –To work with children across the age groups -Term Time Only

Part time Teaching Assistant (17.5hrs) required to work with KS2 to provide class support and specific programmes of work for individuals and groups.

PCD 5 £23,893 per annum pro rata, £12.38 per hour for T.A. hours (pay award pending) 

Required starting 1st January 2025 until 24th October 2025 due to maternity cover:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our positive, hard-working and friendly school team to support learning across the age groups. The hours of working are 17.5 TA hours-working each weekday morning and one afternoon. We would also like the successful applicant to support lunchtimes for 1 hour per day.  

We require a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated support team. 
The successful candidate will work in Reception class, KS1 and KS2 supporting the work of the teacher and delivering interventions with small groups and 1-1 pupils.  This will be every morning in Y2 and Y3 and one afternoon in our reception class. The candidate must show that they are able to be flexible in their working style to meet the needs of children, have knowledge of how to support pupils with learning in a classroom setting and in intervention groups.  Experience of delivering specific programmes for intervention would be desirable but not essential.
