Permanent, Part-Time After-School Club Leader
Required from 6th January 2025

Salary: PCD8i £29,777(A) per annum pro rata – pay award pending - term time only hourly Rate: £15.43

Heron Hill Primary School is a two-form entry primary school that holds our school values of respect, responsibility and relationships at the heart of all we do. We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-organised, creative Play Leader to lead our dedicated team of play workers in our After-School Club during term time. The successful candidate will have the passion, drive and enthusiasm to ensure the continuation of the school’s culture, ethos and high standards in After-School Club. They will have the ability to plan exciting activities for children, be able to support completion of homework tasks and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the provision. Our After-School Club caters for up to 70 children from 3-11 years of age. It runs from 3.15 pm-6.00 pm each day. If the successful candidate has child/ren at Heron Hill, they would get free wraparound provision during their working hours and a 50% discount for their non working hours.

Play Leader Hours: 18 hours per week (3.00 pm-6.00 pm Monday to Friday, term-time only plus 3 hours per week (time to be agreed) for provision preparation.
Please note that we are advertising for a Breakfast Club Leader for the same provision (7.30 am-8.45 am each day). We would welcome applications from candidates who would consider undertaking both roles.
