The Governors of Beaconside Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and committed Site Manager to join our dedicated team and make a significant contribution to our school’s environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that our school provides a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained space for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

OP7i - £27,711(A) per annum  (£14.36 per hour) , full year
Hours: 37 hours per week (shift pattern negotiable) 

About the Role:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our buildings and grounds, ensuring statutory compliance, and contributing to the overall health and safety of the school site. Your duties will include regular health and safety checks, such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, and legionella testing, alongside routine maintenance and basic repairs.

We are looking for someone who:
•    Has a positive attitude and can build excellent relationships with colleagues and the whole school community.
•    Has a sound awareness of health and safety issues and can ensure compliance with regulations.
•    Can manage the planned maintenance programme and oversee statutory compliance tasks effectively.
•    Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of site activities and compliance checks.
•    Can carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs independently.
•    Proactively identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies and working practices and takes appropriate action.

Skills and Experience:
Basic experience in joinery, plumbing, repairs, and maintenance is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate. The ability to manage time effectively, work flexibly, and ensure high standards of site presentation is essential.
