Free 'Cycle Hub'
Free 'Cycle Hub' with racking for up to 10 bikes, a bike repair stand, 10 lockable lockers and 2 changing rooms.
You can get keys to lockers and changing rooms from the parking office on the ground floor.
Charges
'Early bird' tariff: £1.10 for all day parking if ticket purchased between 7am and 9am.
Charges per hour:
- Up to 1 hour: £1.90
- Up to 2 hours: £3.00
- Up to 3 hours: £3.90
- Up to 4 hours: £4.60
- Up to 5 hours: £5.90
- All day: £7.10
If you're a Blue Badge holder you can park one hour for free on top of time purchased when displaying a valid Blue Badge and clock disc.
To claim the discount, press the Help button at the ticket machine. A member of staff will deduct one hours parking and validate the ticket for payment. You can also go in person to the office by the exit barrier to arrange the deduction.
There are 3 Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant pay stations on Levels 1, 3 and 5 at a lower level for wheelchair access.
Kendal Westmorland Shopping Centre card
You can buy a separate card that will allow you to use the Westmorland Shopping Centre car park in Kendal.
The card is only available if you have a standard or transferable permit for 'All areas in our district' or 'Outside the Lake District National Park only'.
The card costs £30.
Payment options
The Westmorland Shopping Centre car park is a pay on exit car park controlled by entry and exit barriers. Motorists pay the charges at the end of their stay.
Payment machines are on:
- Level 1 (one machine)
- Level 3 (2 machines)
- Level 5 (one machine).
You can pay by cash using notes or the following coins:
- 5 pence
- 10 pence
- 20 pence
- 50 pence
- £1 - the old £1 coin will not be accepted
- £2
Paying by card
You cannot use your card at the payment machines, but we do accept card payments at the office which is located next to the exit barrier on Level 1.
Please make your way on foot to the office or park considerately to avoid blocking other vehicles leaving the car park at the barriers.
