School Development Team
Continuing Professional Development for staff and governors.
The Westmorland and Furness School Development Team arrange and co-ordinate a programme of training and development opportunities for school-based staff and governors across our local authority area.
Our programme is developed with school general advisors from our Learning Improvement Service given their detailed knowledge of the national and local educational landscape and the Westmorland and Furness school system.
Some of the courses featured in the programme can be offered as a bespoke training event or as part of an 'INSET day' for your school. If this is of interest to you then please contact the School Development Team to discuss these opportunities further.
SLA Online
The best way to make a booking and keep informed about new courses is to sign up to SLA Online, a traded services platform commissioned by the council: Westmorland and Furness Professional Development.
