Review of polling districts and polling places

We're required to review our UK Parliamentary polling districts and polling places every five years. Have your say on the existing scheme.

Why we need a review

Every five years we're required to review our UK Parliamentary polling districts and polling places.

The are two aims to the review. The first is to assess the suitability of the current polling station configuration. The second is to make sure voters have reasonable facilities.

We have to take the following into consideration:

  • access to polling stations, particularly for disabled residents
  • polling district boundaries
  • the location of polling stations
  • existing polling arrangements and suggested alternatives
