Every application under Part 1 of the Commons Act 2006 must be made in writing on a form provided by the Secretary of State for an application of that type, signed by every applicant or their representative and posted to Commons Registration Service, Lady Gillford's House, Petteril Bank Road, Carlisle, CA1 3AJ.
For any applications seeking to amend the rights section of the register, we require a separate application for each entry to be amended, the exception being when the same set of rights is exercisable over multiple commons.

Section 6 of the 2006 Act
Fill out form CA1 and send payment for the amount indicated if you want to:
- create a right of common resulting in the registration of new common land (no fee)
- create a right of common over existing common land (£292)
Section 7 of the 2006 Act
Fill out form CA2 and send payment for the amount indicated for a:
- variation a right of common (£292)
- variation a right of common resulting in the registration of new common land (no fee)
Section 8 of the 2006 Act
Fill out form CA3 and send payment for the amount indicated if you want to:
- apportion a right of common (£292)
Section 10 of the 2006 Act
Fill out form CA4 and send payment for the amount indicated if you want to:
- attach a right of common (no fee)
Section 11 of the 2006 Act
Fill out form CA5 and send payment for the amount indicated if you want to:
- re-allocate attached rights (£292)
