Landowner statements

Find out how to prevent your land from becoming a village green, and view a list of recent statements.

Legislation came into force on 1 October 2013 which enables landowners to deposit a map and statement under Section 15A(1) of the Commons Act 2006 to protect their land from being registered as a town or village green.

Form CA16 should be submitted to the Commons Registration Service with the fee of £378.

The application form and guidance as to how to complete it are available on GOV.UK
