Westmorland and Furness Council is inviting local organisations to apply to deliver activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme this Easter.
Funded by the Department for Education, the HAF programme supports children aged 4-16 years who receive means-tested free school meals by providing enriching activities and opportunities to learn new skills during school holidays.
Organisations interested in becoming a provider and supporting children and families in their community are encouraged to get in touch to find out more.
Councillor Janet Battye, Cabinet Member for Children's Services, Education and Skills, said: "The HAF programme is a fantastic way to ensure children have access to all sorts of interesting activities and healthy meals during school holidays.
"We welcome applications from organisations who can help us continue to provide these valuable opportunities for families across Westmorland and Furness."
The deadline for applications to deliver activities over the Easter holidays is Friday, 14 February 2025.
