Westmorland and Furness celebrate National Care Leavers Experience Week by planting 3 ‘Positivitrees’ in Kendal, Barrow and Penrith.  

The strategy sets out the council’s ambitions for the next four years.

Westmorland and Furness Children's Services have today opened registration (up to 8 November 2024) for free 76 hours Targeted Short Break Activities for children or young people with SEND.

‘Love our Children’ week is a celebration of the individuality, creativity and talents of Cared for Children, either in Westmorland and Furness Care Homes, or with foster or adoptive families.
