*Permanent After School Club Leader/Assistant (Dependent upon experience)
Part Time: Term Time Only
Hours: 3.15pm – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Paygrade dependent upon experience either:
After School Club Leader:
Paygrade: PCD 8i, £29,777 pro rata (hourly rate £15.43)
After School Club Assistant:
Paygrade: PCD3, £22,737 pro rata (hourly rate £11.79 plus the national living wage top up)

The Governors wish to appoint an After-School Club Leader/Assistant (dependent upon experience) to lead/support our very successful After School Club (Stainton Stars). This post will be working alongside our current member of staff providing safe, creative and interactive provision for our children who attend After School Club.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, energetic and caring practitioner. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children and adults, and can plan, prepare and run a varied range of activities.
The successful candidate must hold a qualification, at least the equivalent to NVQ Level 3.
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Be well organised and able to work as part of a team;
- Have knowledge of health and safety procedures;
- Be caring, conscientious and committed to providing the best for our children;
- Be committed to the highest standards of child protection and safeguarding;
- Uphold the school's Christian ethos and values.
The Main Duties will include:
- Creating a safe, welcoming and friendly environment; delivering high quality opportunities for the children;
- Providing inclusive practice, ensuring all children can be involved in the activities offered;
- Supervision of the children throughout the activities;
- Being a positive role-model for children and other adults;
- Supporting the children by promoting positive behaviour and following the school behaviour policy;
- Keeping records of the children who attend After-School Club to assist with the monthly invoices;
- Leading the day to day organisation of the After-School Club;
- Passing on correspondence to teachers from parents/carers and vice versa.
