We are looking to appoint a motivated, skilled and committed teaching assistant to join our welcoming and vibrant Infant & Nursery School.

This position involves working in EYFS classes.

The successful candidate will:

• have a recognised and relevant level 2 or 3 qualification

• have a passion for supporting the learning and development of all our children

• have experience of working in an EYFS or childcare setting

• build strong, positive relationships with everyone in school

• work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team to ensure continuity of learning and assessment

• have an understanding of how to support the development of children with SEND

School Cleaner – Part-Time Permanent

Part-Time School Cleaner – 15 Hours per week - term time only

The Governing Body would like to employ a hard working part-time permanent cleaner as soon as possible. We require a cleaner to join our school staff who will take responsibility for the provision of high-quality cleaning in school.

Hours of work are 3 hours each day (15 hours per week) Monday to Friday 3:00pm – 6:00pm. We can offer some slight flexibility with working hours, which can be worked to suit applicant. This post is term time only (38 weeks working during term time plus 4 weeks working during school closure periods).

Sandgate is a special school for children and young people between the ages of 3-19 years and we are lucky to be able to offer swimming lessons and sensory swimming sessions to our students at the Hydrotherapy pool located on site.

We are looking to recruit a fun, enthusiastic and qualified swimming teacher who has experience and/or an interest of working with students with additional needs in early years, primary and secondary settings.

Your primary role will be to plan, deliver and review the highest quality, themed, fun and safe learn to swim lessons and/or sensory swim sessions for 3-19 years, changing lives through giving every child the opportunity to learn to swim and to learn through water play.

Safety is our number one priority, and the Swimming Teacher will work closely with hydrotherapy pool Lifeguards to ensure preparation of areas and equipment, management of incidents and adhering to the rules and guidelines set out by the Hydrotherapy Pool. The teacher will also be working closely with and directing the support staff that will accompany the students whilst they are in their swimming sessions.
