Traffic Regulations Order 2023 Proposed Variation No.01 (ref SLTR2023.001)

Proposed new and amendments to existing traffic restrictions across the South Lakeland area of Westmorland and Furness.

  • Ulverston - Priory Road, Co-Op proposed ‘no waiting at any time’ (double yellow line) restrictions (Plan SLTR2023.001.01 Restriction A)
  • Ulverston - Priory Road, Leisure Centre proposed ‘no waiting at any time’ (double yellow line) restrictions (Plan SLTR2023.001.02 Restriction B & C),
  • Heversham - proposed closing of gaps between two ‘no waiting at any time’ (double yellow line) restrictions (Plan SLTR2023.001.03 Restriction D-G).
  • Kendal - Greenside (North) proposed legitimisation of existing parking arrangements following the installation of a Bus Stop build-out (Plan SLTR2023.001.04 H and I)
  • Kendal – Greenside (South) proposed legitimisation of existing parking arrangements following the installation of a new junction layout (Plan SLTR2023.001.05 (J and K)

Locality Board Decision

At the meeting of the South Lakeland Locality Board held on Wednesday, 29 January 2025 at 6.00 pm at District Council Chamber - Kendal Town Hall - Lowther Street, Kendal, LA9 4DQ, it resolved having taken in to consideration the responses received it is recommended that the order be introduced as advertised SAVE FOR Appendix 2B C5072 Heversham - it is recommended only the proposal to introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions is brought in at location G but not location F. Plan of which is labeled "SLTR2023.001.03 Heversham (D-G) recommended changes" and attached herein.
