To start as soon as possible for 3 hours per week, on a Wednesday morning from 8.45am to 11.45am  

Office Administrator BS6 - £24,294(A) per annum pro rata – 3 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time plus 2 additional weeks)

Thank you for your interest in this post.  This post is to work as part of the Administration Team within the School.  This post will work alongside the existing Small School Business Manager and another administrator in school who works 4 hours per week.  This role will work independently on one morning per week (after initial training and induction).  To start work at 8:45am every morning.

Apprentice Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Apprentice Early Years Teaching Assistant – Level 2 – temporary, fixed term, until 31st December 2026, with possible extension to the level 3 course. 

37 hours per week, Mon-Fri, term-time only

Salary: National Apprentice Rate of Pay

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our staff team. We are seeking to recruit an Apprentice Early Years Teaching Assistant from the 1st January 2025 for twelve months. The successful applicant will work in our school and will be given release time to attend Kendal College. 

The contract is for 37 hours per week, but we’re open to a discussion about hours between 30 and 37 hours, in agreement with Kendal College– to meet the requirements of their course. The pay will be based on the National Apprentice Pay Scales and paid in line with the apprentice rate of pay. You will be expected to work throughout the year facilitating high-quality Early Years provision, as well as supporting after-school and lunchtime clubs. 

You will also be required to support individuals and small groups of children through interventions. 

We will offer you mentor support in school, excellent training opportunities and a Kendal College tutor will support you throughout the year.

Senior Teaching Assistants

Temporary Senior Teaching Assistants

30 hours and 50 minutes per week, 8.40am to 3.20pm Monday-Friday, (with half an hour for lunch each day). Hours may be negotiated with successful candidates.

The successful candidate will be required to deliver programmes of work for small groups and individual children who have special educational needs, under the guidance of the SENCO. 

We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working with children; can bring their own skills and interests to enhance the life of the school; is flexible and highly motivated and works well as part of a team.  Experience in teaching children with SEN would be an advantage.

Essential qualifications:  A relevant QCF recognised Level 3 qualification.
