This is a permanent appointment and we welcome applications from all disciplines within Technology, although an ability to deliver Food Technology will be an advantage. As part of our approach to accommodate flexible working, full time, part time and/or job share will be considered and can be discussed at interview.

We can offer you a well-equipped and resourced Design and Technology department, with workshops, textile rooms, catering kitchens and ICT facilities. The work of the department is supported by two full-time technicians. You will also have the opportunity to teach your specialist area up to KS5.

•    Have a sense of creativity and be eager to get involved, working with the children and teachers on projects
•    Be full of energy and enthusiasm

•    Have an approachable, calm and professional manner
•    Have positive behaviour management skills
•    Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in working practices and the ability to know when to use initiative
•    Have a strong academic background with strong literacy and numeracy skills
