•    Motivate both colleagues and students to work hard and try their best through passing on to them their infectious enthusiasm and passion.
•    Actively share good practice and seek to explore ways to improve their own and others’ teaching.

We’re looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join us as our new Examinations and Data Officer. If successful, you will be responsible for the efficient management and organisation of all examinations, and for ensuring the accuracy of our student data records.

Working with colleagues and a team of exam invigilators, responsibilities will include:

•    Ensuring the successful administration of all internal and external examinations, in accordance with the Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ) regulations.
•    Organising and managing the work of a team of exam invigilators.
•    Overseeing the collection and analysis of student attainment information and examination results.
•    Ensuring the accuracy of student data to enable the termly school census.
•    Supporting the Year 9 and Year 12 options processes.

Previous experience in a similar role in a school would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.

Hours of work: ideally, we are looking to appoint a full-time colleague (37 hours/week); however, part-time working may be considered for the right candidate and whilst we envisage this to be a full-year role – again – we’re open to a conversation at interview.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

To organise and support teaching and learning activities for classes. The primary focus is to carry out specified work with individuals, groups and whole classes under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher.

The successful candidate should be a person who is:
     
-   Highly motivated and able to work as part of a team
-    Knowledgeable of KS1/ Early years provision, initiatives and issues, with recent experience

-    An Understanding of the teaching of phonics

Teaching Assistant

One and a half days per week (Monday all day and Tuesday morning) 10 hours,

Lindale Church of England Primary School wish to appoint a teaching assistant (10 hours). The role will involve supporting children with SEND and working with groups. Presently the role is primarily in Reception but the applicant should have a willingness to work across school. 

Lindale is a small village school in a beautiful setting at the entrance to the Cartmel Peninsula. It is within easy travelling distance of Barrow and the motorway. There are 44 on roll, including the Nursery. We have happy, enthusiastic children who love coming to school and are keen to learn, along with a strong and dedicated staff team.
