Midday Supervisor

A vacancy has arisen in our friendly and welcoming school for a Midday Supervisor to work as part of a team to supervise pupils in designated areas of the school during the lunch break and to ensure their safety, welfare and general conduct through appropriate application of the school's policies and procedures.

Required for 8 hours 45 minutes per week from 3rd February 2025.

Salary Range : PCD3 £24,027 ( A)  per annum pro rata (plus the living wage supplement hourly rate £12.60)  , term time only (38 weeks).  
The working hours will be 11.30am-1.15pm.

Permanent contract subject to the successful completion of a 6 month induction period.

Duties will include preparing children for the lunchtime break by the supervision of washing hands, escorting children to and from the hall, assisting during meal times, cleaning up tables etc, developing children’s table manners, supervising and playing with children in the playground, dealing with behaviour incidents in line with school policy, dealing with minor first aid / incidents and to be aware of the fire drill and other health and safety procedures.

Previous experience of working within a school, or with children, is desirable but not essential. Training will be given where required.

PPA Cover Teacher

PPA Cover Teacher (Fixed Term, to cover a period of maternity leave)

The governors of Brough Community Primary School are looking to appoint a PPA cover teacher to join our lovely and thriving village school, from after the February half term, W/C 24th February 2025.
