The pay rate will be SS PCD5 £23893 per annum pro rata term time only plus 1 week.

The Governors at Appleby Primary School would like to appoint a teaching assistant to cover maternity leave to support children with additional needs within our inclusive school to start January 2024.

The post will be 32.5 hours per week

You will deliver on:

  • QTS
  • At least 5 years of experience working with SEN students, particularly those with an ASC diagnosis

We are looking to appoint a motivated, skilled and committed Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and vibrant school.

The successful candidate will:
• have a passion for supporting the learning and development of children
• have two years’ experience of working in a nursery setting and a good knowledge of  EYFS
• work closely with the Early Years teacher to ensure continuity of learning and assessment
