EYFS Teaching Assistant

Start date: as soon as possible 

Fixed term initially to 31st August 2026 due to pupil numbers but may be extended

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and conscientious EYFS based Teaching Assistant to join our team of dedicated staff. 

The role consists of 25 hours per week Monday to Thursday from 12.00pm to 6pm and Friday 12-4.30pm. Term time only.  It may be possible to negotiate less days per week to suit individual circumstances. Afternoons would be spent supporting SEN pupils throughout school. 3.30-6pm providing After School supervision for children from age 2 to 11 years.  This is an exciting opportunity to join our wonderful school.  

The successful candidate will: 
• Hold TA Qualification or L3 equivalent 
• Be fully supportive and committed to the Christian ethos of the school 
• Have experience of contributing to planning, monitoring and assessing pupils in partnership with the class teacher.

Be based primarily in our EYFS area

Play a key role in the afterschool club provision at our school, designing activities and creative entertainment for the children.

• Be caring and nurturing and be fully supportive of our whole school inclusive ethos 

Experience in Early Years is essential and experience with behavior management would be advantageous
