This Cover Supervisor vacancy is an exciting opportunity if you have experience working with young people or are interested in a teaching career but would first like to gain valuable experience in the classroom. 

Hours:    Permanent, full time (37 hours/week), term-time + 1 week + holiday allowance = a total of 44.8 weeks/year
Salary:    Grade 5. Actual salary: £20,600/year (full-time Grade 5 salary is £23,893)

If successful, you will supervise classes while their teacher is absent, following the instructions left by the class teacher to facilitate high-quality learning. The positive working relationships you establish with students will enable you to encourage them to engage in the planned learning activities and ensure that they behave well in class.

Successful candidates will be:
•    Passionate about enabling every child to achieve to their full potential
•    Motivated, confident and keen to learn to inspire and challenge students to succeed
•    Hold at least 5 higher-grade (grade C and above) GCSE passes, or equivalent qualifications, including English and mathematics.
