Hours: The role is for 76 hours per annum, which equates to approximately 2 hours a week for the 38 weeks of the school year (term time only). The role is flexible but will cover approximately 12 meetings a year.

Job description: To advise the Governing Board on governance, procedural and constitutional matters; manage memberships; administer meetings; maintain appropriate records and manage information, in line with relevant legislation, guidance and best practice.

The Governing Board of Lowther Endowed School & Little VIPs Day Care wish to appoint a high-quality Clerk to provide the Governing Board and its committees with administrative support and guidance. The successful candidate will advise the Governing Board on governance, procedural and constitutional matters; manage memberships; administer meetings; maintain appropriate records and manage information, in line with relevant legislation, guidance and best practice.

They will be reliable, flexible and able to attend meetings of the Governing Board and its committees held during the term time in the evenings.

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly, experienced team.

The successful candidate will:
•    Give individual support to named students
•    Have the skills to work with students who have complex needs 
•    Work with Learning Support Teachers to deliver planned programmes

Although experience and qualifications will be an advantage, first and foremost we wish to appoint the right person to complement our team.

GCSE English and Maths are essential as is an NVQ LEVEL 2 qualification (or equivalent) relevant to supporting children.

The Governors of  Cartmel Priory School are looking to appoint a teacher of German within our Ebacc Faculty (history, geography and German) due to the retirement of the current postholder after many years of committed service to the school. This is a 0.4 FTE substantive post, but we are looking for someone who is willing to be flexible to adapt to variations in curriculum hours as they present themselves in a small school. We are seeking someone who has high aspirations, enthusiasm, passion and drive to support us to continue to move forward in the pursuit of excellence within an embedded culture of care and support.

The Ebacc faculty currently consists of a full-time faculty leader, a part time geography specialist teacher, a part time history specialist teacher and a part time German specialist teacher (this post).

German uses an in-house curriculum at Key Stage 3 and follows the AQA specification at Key Stage 4. All classes are taught in mixed ability groupings.

This is a key appointment for our school and the successful candidate will be expected to become an integral member of the staff team and will be expected to demonstrate full commitment to the students, school and its community.

You will need to be able to support and promote the Christian values embedded in school life and to support the wider ethos of the school.
