Required for a September 2025 start, the Governing Body of Grange C of E Primary School would like to appoint an inspirational, kind and outward looking Headteacher on a full time (permanent) basis.  This is an exciting opportunity to lead our experienced and cohesive staff team, develop, nurture and safeguard a diverse pupil population, and drive the school on a continued improvement journey, cognisant of the strong community and Church links at its heart.

The role will include a weekly teaching commitment, currently this is 0.3 across the school.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Ireleth St Peter's CofE Primary School. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our pupils, particularly children with an Education and Health Care Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEND, focusing on their individual needs and learning goals
•    Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all pupils
•    Collaborate with the SENCO, class teacher, and other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies and interventions
•    Monitor and track the progress of SEND pupils, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCO
•    Promote the inclusion and participation of SEND pupils in all aspects of school life
•    Maintain accurate records and documentation related to SEND provision

Requirements:
•    Experience working with children with SEND, particularly in the early years
•    Knowledge of SEND legislation, policies, and best practises
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues
•    Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of SEND pupils
•    Relevant qualifications in SEND, education, or a related field including Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Desirable Qualities:
•    Ability to adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of SEND pupils
•    Familiarity with assistive technologies and their application in the classroom
•    Strong organisational and time management skills
•    Enthusiasm for professional development and a willingness to learn and grow

Salary and Benefits:

The part time positions offer a salary of PCD5 £25,183 pro-rata FTE, term-time only.

Position 1: 28.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Position 2: 16.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Attendance Officer

Located in one of the most beautiful areas of the UK, Ullswater Community College is a school with high ambitions.

Hours: Permanent, full time (37 hours/week), term time only + 1 week Inset (39 weeks/year) plus a starting holiday allowance of 5.6 weeks
Salary: Grade 8, points 19 and 20 (currently £31,067 to £31,586) paid pro rata for term-time-only working to give a salary range of £26,710 to £27,160. Further pro rata for part-time working

Working as part of the Attendance Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
•    ensuring that all statutory requirements relating to attendance and punctuality are accurately fulfilled
•    creating, developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, carers, other professionals and external stakeholders and – of course – with students
•    monitoring daily attendance and interpreting statistical data to identify issues/patterns in student absence
•    liaising and working collaboratively with other members of the pastoral team and external agencies.

You will be self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. Able to plan and prioritise your own workload, you will have a problem-solving approach to your work. A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is necessary, as is the willingness to undergo training as necessary.
