Salary: Grade 4. Pro rata salary is £20,658 (full-time salary £23,500)

If so, we’d like to hear from you. We’re looking for an enthusiastic technician to join our Design Technology Department to support the practical aspects of the DT curriculum – from resistant materials to food technology. This is a permanent, full-time post.

Under the instruction/guidance of the Head of Department, the successful candidate will provide general support across the department. This will include:

•    supporting the work of teaching staff and students
•    liaising with teaching staff over equipment and resource requirements
•    checking stock and order resources
•    following health and safety procedures

You should have a practical approach to work; relevant experience is desirable but not essential as appropriate training will be provided.
